We are pleased to announce that we are offering respite services. These can be for short or long stays. The service offer staff that are fully trained and have achieved or are achieving diplomas in Health and Social care. Most of whom have completed their level 3. The staff have had training in positive behaviour training and we are members of BILD.

The rooms we have available for respite most come with en-suit facilities. So that the service user has dignity and privacy with their personal care. All houses have a decking area with a roof so no matter the weather, there is always access to the garden and the smoking area should it be needed. All rooms come with TV’s that have freeview preinstalled in to them, so they will never miss their favourite programs! They will have communal access to the lounge/dinning room and Kitchen.

We do feel it is important to promote independence so when a Service User comes to stay we will help them maintain and gain basic skills. We also feel that activities are important to stimulate the mind so we will always have activities on the go, including accessing the community, Art and crafts evenings, Cooking evenings, writing letters, Music evenings and much more. Of corse we offer a wide range of choice when it comes to activities so the service user can choose the activities that appeal to them.

Care in Style have been nominated  for prestigious awards such as; Great British Care awards, Skills for care Awards, National Learning disability awards and the Essex business of the year awards. We feel this is testament to the hard work and dedication that every staff member has put in to ensuring, that the service users achieve their goals and live a fulfilled life, full of choice and independence.
