All at Care in Style is pleased and proud to announce the open day for the new respite unit in Westcliff-on-Sea. This will be the only respite unit in the Southend-on-Sea borough. We are excited and motivated to showcase the quality of care we are currently providing.

The new Respite unit is situated in Westborough road, it has been built with comfort in mind. The idea behind this new exciting project is to make the respite unit as homely and as warm as possible, we already have fantastic carers, and some brilliant new carers on the way, who will contribute in the quality of care that we provide. Our staff are trained in Positive behaviour techniques( This is trained by BILD) most of our staff have or are working towards level 3 in Health and Social care. We offer only the most professional, polite, and well mannered staff to support individuals.

We will offer long stays as well as short stays, the home will consist of 5/6 rooms with 5 of the rooms having en-suite facilities. Each room will have widescreen Freeview television, with a large living and dinning room area and a games room. The kitchen is spacious so staff can support individuals to make their own food, this will help maintain and improve on skills. The garden has a activities room, this is where the arts and crafts will take place.

We offer this service to people with learning disability, mental health conditions, autism, aspergers, sensory impairment and many other conditions.

The home is 5 minute walk away from local shops and eatery’s. There is also a bus stop which is a 10 minute ride to the local town, which consists of shops, cinema and restaurants. We are also a 10 minute bus ride away from the seafront, where there is arcades, theme park, bowling and the worlds largest pleasure pier.

This home really needs to be seen, to see how the environment matches our mission statement, as well as matching our idea, of comfort, consideration and care.
